Born in Sri Lanka and raised in London, I grew up surrounded by the warmth, traditions and beautiful chaos of a South Asian household. But growing up between cultures also meant navigating expectations around how I should look, dress, behave and who I should become.

What does home smell like to you?
“I have two little girls who love baking, so home to me smells like freshly baked banana bread (usually with a little chaos in the kitchen along the way!)”
What's your favourite comfort food?
“Amma's homemade veg thali, always eaten with my hands because somehow every flavour tastes that little bit better”
What's your greatest piece of advice to the world?
“Never shrink parts of yourself just to fit into someone else's world. Be proud of where you come from, but give yourself the freedom to become whoever you want to be.”
