Our story
Built for the life in between.

Meet Becky
For a long time, I didn't know where I fit.
I grew up in a small town outside London, raised by a British-Pakistani family with roots I quietly distanced myself from. Not because I wasn't proud... but because the world around me never quite reflected both sides of who I was.
The mainstream didn't see me. And the South Asian spaces I knew felt like they were for someone else - someone more traditional, more formal, more certain of their identity than I was.
So I did what a lot of us do. I adapted. I built a career in digital marketing, scaled brands and campaigns, and got good at helping other people tell their stories. But something always felt missing.
At 27, after a season of personal change, I booked a flight to Pakistan — the first time I'd been back since I was 10. What I found wasn't just heritage. It was a raah. A path back to myself.
I came home and started asking: why isn't there a place for women like me? Women who wear jeans on Monday and want a beautiful co-ord set on Saturday. Women who cook from scratch with their mum's spice blends and also buy artisan candles for their apartments. Women who are proudly South Asian and completely Western and entirely themselves - all at once.
There wasn't. So I built it.
The mission
Why Raah exists
Raah & Co. is a home for South Asian-led brands - and for the women in the West who've been looking for them.
We exist because South Asian fashion, beauty, food and lifestyle has always been rich, creative and extraordinary. But in the West, it's been reduced to bridal shops and occasion wear. The independent South Asian designer making beautiful co-ord sets inspired by her grandmother's salwar kameez? Invisible. The South Asian woman hand-pouring candles scented with cinnamon and chai in her kitchen? Nowhere to be found.
Raah changes that.
We bring independent, artisan South Asian-led brands together in one place - so the woman who's been searching for them can finally stop searching.
What we believe
What Raah stands for
Independent over mass produced.
Every brand on Raah is independent and South Asian-led. Small batch, made with intention, built with care. Not a bulk manufacturer. The real thing.
Western-first. South Asian always.
We speak the language of both worlds. Our co-ord sets are also salwar kameez. Our longline tunics are also kurtis. We're not hiding what we are - we're making it findable for everyone.
Quality without a price rule.
A £10 hand-poured candle from a South Asian woman making 50 units belongs on Raah just as much as a £180 hand-embroidered dress. The filter isn't price. It's quality and intention.
A platform, not a gatekeeper.
Brands on Raah choose what they bring. We set the standard — independent, artisan, South Asian-led - and then we get out of the way and let them shine.
Built for the diaspora. Open to everyone.
Raah is for South Asian women in the West who've never seen themselves fully reflected in mainstream retail. But anyone who loves beautiful things made by South Asian founders is welcome here.
Come home to Raah
Whether you're shopping, gifting, or building - you're in the right place.
Whether you're shopping for yourself, gifting someone you love, or building a brand that deserves to be seen — you're in the right place.
This is Raah. The path was always here.
