We're Raah & Co. — an indie home for South Asian brands. We take your privacy seriously, and we keep things as simple as we can. Here's exactly what we do with your data, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Raah & Co. is the data controller for the information you share with us. If you ever need to reach a real person about your data, email becky@raahandco.com.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist or sign up for updates, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your name, address, phone number, or anything else at this stage.

Why we collect it

We use your email to send you marketing updates from Raah & Co. — new brands, new drops, launch news, and the occasional story from the homeland and back. Nothing else. We rely on your consent (the box you ticked when you signed up) as our legal basis for this under UK GDPR.

How long we keep it

We hold onto your email for as long as you want to hear from us. If you unsubscribe, we'll remove you from our active mailing list straight away and delete your details within 30 days, unless we're legally required to keep a minimal record (for example, to honour your unsubscribe request).

Who we share it with

No one. We don't sell, rent or share your email with third parties for their own marketing. We do use trusted service providers (like our database and, eventually, our email-sending tool) to store and send our updates — they only process your data on our behalf and under strict instructions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us at any time to:

• Unsubscribe — every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, or just reply and say "unsubscribe".
• Delete your data — email us and we'll wipe your details from our systems.
• See what we hold — ask for a copy of the data we have on you.
• Correct it — let us know if anything's wrong and we'll fix it.
• Complain — if we've got something wrong, you can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and — if it's a meaningful change — let you know by email.
